Winery Review: Intense fruit aromas and flavors of rhubarb and black cherry that are complemented by hints of mocha and vanilla. The plush, velvety mouth feel and smooth finish round out this intriguing, full-bodied red blend.
My Review: Finally, a red wine that doesn't completely dry my mouth out after the first sip. I did feel parched after a few sips but it was nothing I couldn't handle. I tasted strong hints of black cherry but not vanilla and mocha. The aroma was not overpowering either. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this Apothic Red wine.
